– The lambs we raise are meat breeds (Suffolk and Hampshire) especially bred for excellent conformation and meat quality, and are shown at several local county fairs as 4-H projects by Paul, Joey and Molly during the summer.

We select our lambs in the early spring from local flocks that are among the highest quality flocks in the Midwest. The lambs are 2 months old when they arrive at our farm where they are introduced to special high quality feed and hay grown on our farm. The lambs receive no antibiotics or hormones throughout the growing period. Our lambs receive excellent care at our farm with exercise and daily handling.

Paul, Joey and Molly exhibit the lambs at 3-4 livestock shows during the summer, and commonly receive trophies for their animals and showmanship.

The lambs are ready for processing in late summer when they are 6-7 months old. The lambs are processed locally at a federally inspected facility. Each lamb will produce about 60-70 pounds of lamb chops, leg of lamb, lamb stew and ground lamb. Our lambs can be processed to the specifications of each customer. Whole and half lambs are available.
