Rural Sidney business launches new website

Sidney, Illinois - September 8, 2007 - Bane Family Meats

On the 75th birth anniversary of singer Patsy Cline, Bane Family Meats of rural Sidney, Illinois officially launched their new website.  Located at www.banefamilymeats.com, the site highlights the various natural, free-range, meats the farm has to offer.  It also discusses the care which goes into the raising and handling of the livestock, as well as the veterinary science which is the basis for the farm operation.  The site was developed by Tom McCowan of Wood-n-Ware Web Services (www.wood-n-ware.com), also of Sidney.

David Bane, DVM and CEF (Chief Executive Father) commented: "We are a Champaign County farm family with a dedication to sustainable agriculture, and quality meat and poultry products. We take special care in the selection, rearing and processing of our chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and pork to provide a superior eating experience for our customers."  David went on to say, "All of our livestock are grown free-range at our farm. No pesticides or chemicals are applied to our pastures; no antibiotics or growth promoters are added to our animal feeds. All feeds are purchased from local feed mills that custom blend the livestock diets to our specifications."

The farm is located just north of the Salt Fork River outside Sidney on County Road 2125 East.  Hours of operation are by appointment.  For further information, contact David Bane at 217-688-2797 or by e-mail at info@banefamilymeats.com .
